The road circling the island runs for roughly a hundred kilometers past vanilla plantations and along the lagoon. Stop wherever you like: an empty beach, a roadside fruit stand, a view across to the motu. Head toward Opoa and the Taputapuatea marae, the reason Raiatea is known as the sacred island — worth the detour on its own, much like Faaroa Bay, the only navigable river in French Polynesia.

Easy to handle, the scooter works just as well for a one-hour ride as for a full day looping the island.

🚫 It is strictly forbidden to transport or use our scooters on the island of Taha’a, whether by private boat, shuttle service, or any other means.

Any use outside of Raiatea constitutes a breach of the rental terms and will result in:

  • Immediate cancellation of insurance coverage
  • Full liability of the renter in case of damage
  • Application of contractual penalties
